August news and updates!

A new update is coming very soon, and we want to share our work and some results with you!

We decided to completely remake the Academy’s Courtyard background. Look how beautiful it looks when it's finished 😍 Yet, this is not all the new backgrounds for this location! The background is amazing, don't you agree with us? ❤️ But we want to make it a thousand times better.

We're going to give you a 360-degree view of the Academy’s Courtyard using three backgrounds! We hope that it will be ready (and will work) and that you will be able to see the whole yard in the next update. But if we have problems with the new feature, we'll add it to the next-next build, and in the meantime, we’ll just update the backgrounds that are ready.

Also, we are testing our teased features that will be available as a demo to our lovely patrons! Thank you so much for your support!

Card battle demo progress:

✔️ The small amount of dialogue in the demo is done

✔️ The code is ready, for the most part😅

❌ UI and animations is not ready yet, so what do you see now this is prototype, a deception, an illusion 😂

It'll be ready soon, and we'll be posting the card battle demo on Patreon! And if you have a subscription, you'll be one of the first to try out the card battle mechanics before we add it to the game.

By the way, we also are testing 2 new quests, but we'll tell you about them in the next posts.

We hope you are ready for new adventures!

The art is very good, don't get me wrong... but the games is already full of unused areas. I think it would be a smarter choice to add some characters and quests instead of more backgrounds.

While I can see where you're coming from, the purpose of unused areas is to make it easier to introduce said quests and characters you're asking for. Adding too many characters and quests into a small handful of areas makes it feel like the developer isn't very invested in the world they're trying to create.
